Privacy policy

This website offers no account creation, no login, no contact form and no booking. The only field submitted to a server is the newsletter email address, described below. Search works by navigation: its criteria appear in the page address.

The WhatsApp buttons open a conversation with My Rental Collection in the WhatsApp app, with a pre-filled message you can edit. No data is transmitted until you send a message. If you write to us, your phone number and messages are processed by WhatsApp, under its own terms, and by us, solely to answer your request.

Property descriptions, destinations and indicative rates are read from a database hosted by Supabase, from the website’s server. These queries concern published properties; they contain no data about you.

Photographs come from Supabase storage, but your browser does not normally request them from that service: they are fetched and optimised by this website’s server, which serves them to you itself. Your IP address is therefore not disclosed to the storage provider when an image is displayed. Exception: if the image optimisation service is temporarily unavailable, your browser loads the photograph directly from Supabase storage, which then receives your IP address.

The map on property pages displays base tiles provided by OpenStreetMap. It loads only if you scroll down to it: until it is visible, no request is sent to OpenStreetMap. When it does load, your IP address is transmitted to that service so that it can send you the map tiles.

No exact property location is published: the map shows an area, not an address.

The home page displays Google reviews through a module provided by Trustindex. When you approach that section, your browser loads the module from Trustindex’s servers, and the reviewers’ profile pictures from Google’s servers: your IP address is transmitted to both services. The module sets no cookie and writes nothing to your browser storage.

If you accept, this website uses Google Analytics, loaded by Google Tag Manager, to measure its audience. Until you have accepted, none of these tools is loaded and nothing is sent to Google; if you refuse, nothing ever is.

What is then sent: the pages viewed (their address, without search criteria or dates), interactions with the site (search, filters, favorites, WhatsApp clicks…), the language, the device and browser type, and a random identifier kept in a cookie. No name, email address, phone number, message or stay date is sent.

This processing is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from “Manage cookies”, at the bottom of every page. This data is processed by Google, which may transfer it outside the European Union, in particular to the United States. The cookies are listed in the cookie policy.

The hosting and database providers keep technical operating logs, which may include IP addresses. Those logs belong to those providers and serve the security and correct operation of the service.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and restriction. They cover the data about you that we hold: the messages you send us on WhatsApp. To exercise them, write to us at contact@myrentalcollection.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in France, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
