Just 40 minutes from the centre of Paris, Château Le Petit Versailles is one of France's most remarkable châteaux, classified as a historic monument by the French government in 1942. Set in 75 hectares of wooded parkland, with two lakes, a magnificent cascading fountain, a greenhouse and an orangery, not to mention the sumptuous interiors, Château Le Petit Versailles embodies elegance, luxury and the famous French expression 'art de vivre'. Originally designed by architect François Mansart for the Comte d'Aufflay and later completed by his grand-nephew, Jules Hardouin-Mansart, chief architect to Louis XV, who also oversaw the construction of the Château de Versailles at the same time. Similarly, the Château's splendid garden, Le Petit Versailles, was designed by André Le Nôtre, who also created the famous gardens at the Château de Versailles. As a result, it earned the name Le Petit Versailles. The Château has been the sanctuary of many celebrities, including John Travolta, Tom Cruise and Lenny Kravitz. It was a source of inspiration for Dan Brown, who wrote 'The Da Vinci Code' during his stay at the Château and was subsequently used as a film location for its adaptation.

The Château is located north-west of Paris, 40 minutes from the Champs Elysées. Three main motorways, the A13, A14 and A15 will take you to Château Le Petit Versailles. The main international airports are Charles de Gaulle (40 minutes away) and Orly. For private aviation, two other airports are available: Le Bourget (30 minutes away) and Pontoise - Cormeilles-en-Vexin (20 minutes away).
